IrisPublishers Elicitation, A Mechanistic Approach to Change the Metabolic Pathway of Plants to Produce Pharmacological Important Compounds in  In-vitro  Cell Cultures Authored   by Muhammad Naeem Bajwa Abstract Plant’s secondary metabolites, produced usually under stress, are one of the promising sources for food additives, pharmaceuticals, food flavors and other industrial materials. The comprehensive probing of metabolite’s production mechanism, stress signal transduction pathway, would be great push toward in commercial production. Higher plants inevitably encounter stresses and sustain themselves by producing various secondary metabolites which, the secondary metabolites, have various industrial application that’s why are promising candidates for commercialization. Due to certain limitations of natural plant extraction, plant cell/tissue culture is considered a best alternative way for in-vitro production of bioactive secondary metabolites. Elicitation ca...

IrisPublishers Uncovering Problems Caused by Mining Exploration Activities in Sangaredi Authored     by Ibrahima Sory Madiana Camara Abstract Exploration of bauxite mining has created numerous issues of concern in communities of operations and this has triggered engineering researchers and consultancy agencies to engage in investigations to establish causes of problems reported by communities regarding mining operations. The thrust for mineral exploration in different parts of the world has led to the destruction of many communities and their habitats. This study however focuses on uncovering problems caused by mining activities in Sangaredi and therefore employed primary data collection to enhance its objectives. The study reviewed pieces of literature from books, journal articles, magazines and other periodicals published on the subject matter. This study developed suitable data collection methods, which led to the design of questionnaires used to obtain first-hand in...

IrisPublishers Green Enzyme Enhanced Oil Recovery Authored     by Zhengwen Zeng Abstract Enhanced oil recovery (EOR) is widely performed in oil fields after primary and secondary productions. Enzyme enhanced oil recovery (EEOR) has seen rapid growth in both lab research and field applications in recent years due to its promising effectiveness and minimum footprint to the environment in comparing to other EOR methods. To promote the progress of this emerging technology, this preliminary review is conducted with the intention of revealing and sharing experience from many unpublished case studies, and integrating them with results in conference and peer reviewed papers, with special attention to the application of green enzyme, a DNA-modified protein. The collected literature and technical reports included cases from Asia, Middle East, South America and USA. Mechanisms to the success of some cases are discussed. Factors limiting the applications in some cases are shared....
