Climate justice is a new issue in terms of its aim to resolve an emerging and very complex set of problems, including woman empowerment, health and economic development, food and poverty, security and conflict. In addition, the added stressor of climate change is exacerbating deficiencies, particularly in the developing world. One of the key components to ensuring climate justice is the provision of safe and reliable water and sanitation services which, as agreed for the first time by the UN Congress in 2010, is a basic human right and forms part of SDG6. The mechanical behaviour of microscale structures such as microscale beams and plates are highly nonlinear in many practical cases due to large applied forces as well as strong interactions between different parts at microscales. In applications such as resonators, sensors and generators, in which the mechanical behaviour plays a crucial role, understanding the nonlinear response becomes important [1-5]. In recent years, a number of size-dependent elasticity-based models have been used to analyze the static stability, time-dependent deformation and static deformation of the structural components of microscale and nanoscale systems [6-9]. To overcome the common problem, i.e., protocol complexity, of conventional underwater node estimation techniques, a statistical signal processing technique was proposed as an alternative. The technique uses cross-correlation as signal processing tool and hence it is called cross-correlation based underwater node estimation technique. This technique can overcome the protocol complexities, human interaction, over cost, etc., of conventional techniques. However, to introduce the readers with different technical aspects regarding this technique, the paper is introduced. We have used mean, and standard deviation as our estimation parameter to estimate nodes. At the same time, we have illustrated a brief discussion on effect of signal length, underwater bandwidth, etc., simultaneously in this paper. This writing can boost the researches in this field. Due to the increase of consumption in the world of energy and the pollution caused by fossil fuel combustion processes, it is necessary to generate new technologies for the use of alternative fuels, allowing to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal. In general, the combustion processes of fossil fuels produce greenhouse gases which increase the temperature of the environment and the deterioration of the ozone layer. Chemical equilibrium was used to estimate the species produced by adiabatic gasification with different air-vapor mixtures. By running the NASA CEA software (chemical equilibrium with applications), a thermochemical simulation was performed under two parameters: the equivalence ratio (ER) defined as stoichiometric air/air supplied to the reactor (1.5-6) and the steam-fuel ratio (0-1). Coastal Flooding on Gravel-Dominated Beaches Under Global Warming

Global Journal of Engineering Sciences This work analyses the effects of sea-level rise on flooding events for 3 different scenarios: present situation (S0), optimistic projection (RCP4.5) and pessimistic projection (RCP8.5). The study area is a gravel-dominated beach in southern Spain (Playa Granada), where the SWAN and XBeach-G models are applied to assess wave propagation patterns, total run-up and flooded dry beach area. The results indicate that sea-level rise modifies wave propagation patterns, with alongshore-averaged increases in breaking wave height equal to 1.2% (1.9%) un-der westerly (easterly) storms in the optimistic scenario and 2.6% (2.4%) in the pessimistic scenario. These increments lead to maximum increases in total run-up greater than 13% (14%) for westerly (easterly) storms in the optimistic scenario and 16% (20%) in the pessimistic scenario.
